TEAM MACHIAVELLI
36 Years and countinG
We have created the same warm, welcoming environment that was beloved on Capitol Hill. Edmonds has given us the opportunity to accommodate large parties(we have high availability between 4-5, give us a call to reserve a table between 4-5) and small alike without the wait times that were typical on Capitol Hill. Parking is also a breeze with abundant street parking and bank parking lots are free after bank hours. The menu is exactly the same but with the addition of lunch and lots of new rotating specials! We would love to see you!
Machiavelli recipes travelled up I-5 in the 1980s with Linda and Tom McElroy from San Francisco's famed Italian-American North Beach neighborhood.
They opened Ristorante Machiavelli in 1988 on Seattle's Capitol Hill, overlooking downtown. Their simple and beloved menu and warm hospitality created a strong community.
Suzette Jarding moved to Seattle from South Dakota and in 1999 began work as a hostess and server. She fell hard for the restaurant and its loyal customers.
Suzette purchased Ristorante Machiavelli from Linda and Tom in 2013 and lovingly ran the Seattle restaurant until its closure in 2024.
In December 2023, Suzette opened the Edmonds location (she has been an Edmonds resident since 2003) of Ristorante Machiavelli to rave reviews, bringing the famous salad dressing and delicious pastas to a new generation of Machiavelli fans.
